Tanfield Railway

Tanfield Railway is the world's oldest working railway, the Sunniside - Causey section dating from 1725. Causey Arch, beside the railway, is the oldest surviving single-arch railway bridge. Most of these photos were taken on my second vist, in 2007 plus later photos of Cochrane from March 2009.
