Plot
The inspiring and tragic true story of Dian Fossey and her fight to save the mountain gorillas of Rwanda. Having set her mind on becoming part of a scientific expedition to observe the mountain gorillas, Dian won't take no for an answer. Through patience, observation and mimicry, she enters into the world of the gorillas, gaining their trust and an unprecedented closeness to the animals. At the same time, her outspokenness and determination win her both friends and enemies among her human companions and neighbours, sparking confrontations that may have led to her tragic murder.
