These rare birds are very appealing and extremely unusual. I was confirmed as a fan after visiting New Zealand, where I learnt more about the conservation efforts that are going on.

To me one of the most peaceful and inspiring places in the world, Iona is where I once lived and worked for six weeks, have since revisited and would love to visit again. It has a fascinating history as the centre from which Celtic Christianity spread into Britain and is now the centre of the ecumenical Iona Community.
