Don't Panic: the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy fanlisting

Cast: Tertiary - Quintessential Phases

The new series reunited most of the original cast. Peter Jones, the original narrator, had died in 2000; Richard Vernon, the original Slartibartfast, had died in 1997; and David Tate, the voice of Eddie the Computer (among many other roles), had died in 1996. William Franklyn took over the role of the book, though parts of Peter Jones' original narration were re-used in the first episode. Roger Gregg played Slartibartfast, and Richard Griffiths, Eddie. Bill Wallis, who played Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz in the original series, was unavailable, and Toby Longworth took the role of Jeltz in the new series. John Marsh, who had been the continuity announcer for Fits Two-Twelve, reprised this role. The voice of Agrajag was created from Douglas Adam's own earlier audiobook recording of Life, the Universe and Everything. Trillian's double, Tricia McMillan was played by Sandra Dickinson, who played Trillian in the TV series of The Hitchhiker's Guide.
